We finally got a chance to go out after several weeks of planning and me canceling. Ashleigh, Ashley, Twan, and I met at Sal and Mookies for dinner and to reminisce about the crazy things we did before we had children and careers. It was fun although our waiter was kinda weird!!! The food was good but the fellowship was even better. Ladies let's make this a monthly event!!! LOL

Braxton has grown so much over the past couple of months. He is trying his best to learn to crawl he can go backwards but he hasn't quite learned how to move forward. He has started to roll over on his stomach a lot and his dad and I really have to watch him because he'll try to roll out the bed. He loves the water and he still takes a bath in his duck ( Thanks Kara and Charlotte!) I hate to break the news to him ,but he's getting a little to big for that duck! He love to play on the floor by himself and his favorite show is The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. When that show is on he doesn't move !We bought him the video to watch in the truck at Wal-mart. He loves it!!!Braxton is so fun!!! He wakes up smiling every morning and he only cries when he's sleepy.

A Great Celebration

We celebrated three recent graduations in our family this year. Let's start with Mr. Reggie Jones (now Attorney Jones)who graduated from Ole Miss Law School. Attorney Jones also recently passed the bar!!YEA BABY!! He'll be working with Adam and Reese Law Firm in Jackson, Mississippi. Our next graduate is Ms. Whitney Jones(Reggie's sister), Whitney graduated from USM in May. Whitney's field of study was Speech Pathology. GO GIRL!!! She plans to continue her education by getting her masters in this field of study. Well I saved the best for last!!! My little brother Kevin graduated from JSU!!! Thank you Jesus!! Just kidding Kevin! Kevin graduated from the College of Business, where he was named "Student of the Year." He has decided to continue his education in Atlanta at Emory University!!! GO HEAD UNCLE REV!!!!
We celebrated by having one big party at my mom's house because it's in a central location. We ate good and fellowship with friends and family. Braxton decided to ply possum so no one would bother him. That boy is something else!!!!

OH! My! where do I start? My "Chunk of Love" is growing up so fast. People told me the time would fly by but surely not this fast. He is loving his duck bath tub and we almost waited too long to put him in it. Some night he doesn't want to get out and cry if you take him out.

Braxton's First Family Gathering

Braxton got his shots in Tuesday and I almost cried. He really didn't run a fever but his little leg were sore. On Saturday we attend my cousin's wedding at Greater Fairview Church in Jackson. He did so well and he got a chance to meet all his family members for the first time. He and I had our first dance at the reception. It was a lot of fun!!!! Congratulations Muriel and Rainey Varner

Oh my!!!! Where do I start? Braxton is growing up so fast and he's already got his own little personality. On March 17 th my little man will be 2mths!! I can't believe it!! He's still not sleeping all night but he only wakes up twice and that's not bad. He loves to take a bath!!! When Bubba and I gave him his first real bath he fell asleep in his tub I thought something was wrong with my baby. He is very alert now. He knows our voices and he follows them when we leave out of the room. HE'S MOMMAS SWEET LITTLE MAN!!!
